Even with all of its expansion, Pooler still manages to keep that friendly, welcoming atmosphere that makes people feel at home.

Pooler is served primarily by the Savannah Chatham County Public School System, which operates schools throughout the county and continues to grow and adapt as the area expands.

Schools commonly associated with Pooler include Pooler Elementary, West Chatham Elementary, West Chatham Middle, and New Hampstead K 8. New Hampstead High School serves most high school students in the area.

The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force is one of the standout spots in the area. It is a military museum dedicated to the history of the Eighth Air Force, with aircraft, stories, and exhibits that make it meaningful for visitors of all ages.

Tom Triplett Community Park is one of the main outdoor spaces in Pooler. It offers a golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, a fishing lake, walking trails, disc golf, and wide open green space. It is a popular spot for both activity and relaxing outside.

Other local spots include the Children’s Museum of Pooler, Tanger Outlet, and Pooler Cinemas, along with a growing mix of dining and entertainment options. And when you want even more, Savannah is just a short drive away.
